Andrew was only trying to to protect family from scandal even if he truly was innocent. You can’t say anything publicly in front of queen. He respected her wishes. Maxwell trial was a joke, though Maxwell was guilty. Virginia key witness never took the stand, why she was a key witness? She had nothing to to lose, she talked about wanting justice a, well that means you get up on stand and testify. But she had no problems witn media. Then court date for settlement, Queens jubilee coming up, she was ill and dying. Brilliant strategy by prosecutors but morally unfair. Andrew was in an unfair position a. He would have fought but settled for mother’s sake. And thank God he did, I don’t care if guilty or innocent, she got her jubilee and died months later.
